Here's a quick update to let you know about
the new fabric and classes added to the store since the beginning of
the month, and to announce the winner of the Unfortunate Fat Quarter
contest.
Also, a reminder that Kathleen Tracy, author of Prairie Children and Their Quilts,
will be here in the store on Saturday, April 25th from 10:30 - Noon to
sign her new book, Remembering Adelia.
The quilts and projects were inspired by the diary of a
nineteen-year-old woman living in Northern Illinois just before the
Civil War.
Remember that this month is double stamp month for all Martingale books!

New Classes
 Beach Baggy Tote
With just six fat quarters and a companion lining fabric, you can make
this fun and easy (and big!) beach bag tote. Class fee is $30 and
it is offered on Thursday, May 14th and Saturday, June 27th from 12:00
- 4:00 p.m.
 Easy Striped Table Runner
Using a stripe or border print fabric and a 60 degree triangle ruler,
you will create this fast and easy table runner. Class is $20 and
is offered on Sunday, June 14th, from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Unfortunate Fat Quarter Contest
Results
After two-and-a-half weeks of voting, the UFQ contest has come to a
close. With 21 projects entered, we raised a grand total of $110
for the Avon Township Food Pantry. Originally, only one prize was
going to be given, but because of such close numbers at the top, we
decided to award first, second, and third place prizes!
