Fall News
Hello!

A few tidbits to share with you all... We have new class dates open for November and December, new fabric, a charity project, and an anniversary to celebrate.

Recent fabric arrivals include "Tanyard Creek" from Henry Glass, and "Alice in Wonderland" based on the original illustrations. We also have close to 20 new "Itsy Bits" prints from Renee Nanneman on the shelf, and her new "Blossom Lane" fabrics awaiting their paperwork so I can price them out.
Rouenneries from Moda is still in transit at this time, but should be here any day now.

Please join us on Wednesday, October 28th, Noon to 4, for a ConKerr Cancer pillowcase sew-in. Bring your sewing machine, bright cotton fabrics and your enthusiasm to help sew up a batch of pillowcases for seriously ill children. A ConKerr Cancer coordinator will be on hand with a selection of fabric cuts for the top section of the case; from you we will need the 3/4 yard cuts for the body. The requested pillowcase is a simple two piece case; no flange, please, and plain cotton only (no flannel). For more information, visit their website at www.ConKerrCancer.org. If you cannot join us to sew on Wednesday, you may drop off pillowcase and fabric donations at any time we are open.

Anniversary!

Quilt Play is now one year old! In fact, it has almost been one year plus one month, so to celebrate, take 11% off your total regular-price purchase this week. Save paper, don't print anything out, but DO mention the special to qualify.

Offer valid Monday, 10/26, through Sunday, 11/1

The longarm quilting deadline for Christmas has already passed, but our quilters may be able to fit in a few more. This will be on a case by case basis; we will call Joni or Linda when the quilt comes in and see if it can still be accommodated. Quilts which have been brought in already are in queue and will be completed in the order in which they were received.

It's quilting weather!

Sincerely,

Shelley MacGregor
